After living in London & Brighton for over 10 years I moved to North Devon in 2008.

Dance has always been incredibly important to me as student, performer & teacher. From being a nervous child taking ballet exams to dancing commercially to finding the liberation of dancing barefoot & improvising to live music. The most important thing about it is, I love the way that dancing makes me feel!
As a child I trained at Tanwood Theatre School & danced in pantos & TV Commercials.
In 1995 I took a BA Honours Degree in Dance & Related Arts at Chichester University & was awarded a ERASMUS scholarship to study at The School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam.
It was that semester that really opened up my understanding of the nature of dance. Both as performance art form & as a way for people to communicate safely, effectively & therapeutically.
Later, I managed Nimblelimbs as it was, a loose knit collective of contemporary dancers performing new work at Fringe Festivals & running Educational Workshops.
Moving into the educational side of dance full time for several years I was Head of Dance at a secondary school in Brighton. I have performed throughout Europe & am a dancer for Vavavavoom a neo burlesque company based in Brighton. I am the current Dance in Devon's Youth Dance Practitioner for North Devon.
